In act after act this administration promotes appalling outcomes and the GOP stands to the side, applauding its monstrous leader. There's a rush to see who can be the most outrageous, the most far right, the most fervent of craven toadies. What reason can they have, for these people to cripple a country they profess to love?
It made me sick as I held in mind what I wrote my other comment about the world being a business for Trump. For Musk, too. How can he top being the richest person in the world? Maneuvering the world to his pleasure still could give him a thrill. Like an addict needs more and more to get high.
Scrolling through this was a revelation. Trump sees the world as business. And it's the corporate heartlessness version he's in, that stops at nothing for profit. He's making deals, not negotiating anything, and they aren't win-win. And not even on behalf of us, but what's good for him, whatever that does to us. I am feeling astonished to see this so graphically. Am I just waking up or are people talking like this?
